Ringo

Species: Bolivian Squirrel Monkey
Background: Former Lab
Date of Birth: 7/2/2003
Arrival Date: 11/21/2007
Meet Ringo, a clever Bolivian squirrel monkey with a playful streak, who arrived at Jungle Friends with his buddy Michael at the age of four. Both were bred for medical research, but luck was on their side when the study was canceled before they were used. Narrowly avoiding being sold to another lab, the two found a safe haven at the sanctuary.

Ringo is now known for his mischievous personality. He’s constantly trying to open the drawer outside his enclosure, always curious about what’s inside. When he's not busy with that, he's slinging cold spaghetti over Michael's head or collecting beetles to keep in his food dish—just for a bit of fun. Life with Ringo is never dull!
