Kali, often called the prettiest monkey in all of Munchkinland, is a picture of quiet elegance and gentle charm. Born in a zoo, she spent her early years among other cotton-top tamarins before she was kicked out of her troop. Luckily for Kali, somebody at the zoo contacted Jungle Friends, and soon enough she was on her way to Florida, where a new chapter awaited-one full of sunshine, companionship, and the freedom to explore at her own pace.

Naturally shy and cautious, Kali took her time adjusting to her new outdoor home. The wide-open spaces and unfamiliar surroundings were a big change, and she preferred to take things slow – especially when it came to people. But her story began to blossom the moment she was introduced to a fellow cotton-top tamarin who, like her, was looking for a friend. Their bond was instant and heartwarming. With her new partner by her side, Kali found the confidence to step outside, enjoy the sunshine, and explore the world around her with a new sense of security. These days, you'll often find her lounging in the sun with her companion, soaking in the peace of sanctuary life.

Though she still prefers to keep a respectful distance from humans, Kali's gentle spirit and graceful presence make her a truly special part of the Jungle Friends family. Her story is a beautiful example of how patience, friendship, and a little bit of courage can lead to a life filled with joy.
