Gini Rose spent 12 years as a pet, but after multiple escapes and even a few run-ins with the neighbors, her guardian realized she needed something he could never give her: a safe, species-appropriate home with other monkeys. He brought her to Jungle Friends, where she finally received the stability, enrichment, and community she deserved.

When she first arrived, Gini Rose was cautious and unsure of her new surroundings. But it didn’t take long for her personality to blossom, and now she’s one of the sanctuary’s most outgoing (and nosiest) residents! Gini Rose is always keeping tabs on her neighbors, scanning every corner of her area to make sure she doesn’t miss a single moment of monkey drama.

Because a former owner had all her teeth removed, Gini Rose is on a special toothless-monkey diet. Her meals are prepared with extra soft foods, ensuring she can enjoy every bite comfortably. And enjoy them she does! She’s always hopeful that anyone walking by might be carrying a treat just for her.
