Micky and six other capuchins were retired to sunny Florida from the University of Georgia (UGA) lab where they were involved in cognitive studies. When Micky arrived at Jungle Friends he was the palest of the UGA Boys, but now he sports a great tan. Micky gets very excited when his caregivers bring out new and exciting foods. He knows the sound of the food carts and enthusiastically screams his "good food" call alerting his neighbors that food is on the way. Micky's love of food is reflected in his growing belly. Micky was a bit of a loner, until he met Rachel–now, you rarely see them apart. Our first priority at Jungle Friends is to find lone monkeys friends and allow them to do monkey things with their monkey friends in their spacious, lush, "Almost Wild" habitats. Micky was all alone in the lab, but now enjoys the company of one of our "Wild Girls" named Rachel.
