At just five years old, Tabitha found her way to Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary, hand in paw with her best friend Lily. The two were inseparable from the start, having shared a past life as pets. Their guardian, realizing that a sanctuary could offer a more enriching and natural environment for her beloved duo, made the heartfelt decision to bring them to this haven in the sun-drenched state of Florida.

While Lily exudes sweetness and a gentle spirit, Tabitha is the yin to her yang—full of spunk and mischievous energy. This high-spirited monkey has a knack for turning every mealtime into a playful game, her favorite pastime being to toss bits of food at the caregiving staff, delighting in every successful hit. It's all in good fun, of course, as Tabitha's antics bring smiles to everyone who meets her.

The sanctuary’s lush, expansive habitat has become Tabitha’s playground. Here, she lives out her days as nature intended, racing through the runways, engaging in spirited play with Lily and their other monkey friends, and relishing every moment of freedom. When the heat of the Florida summer rises, Tabitha knows just how to cool down—splashing in the refreshing sprays of monkey rain or lounging lazily on the broad limbs of the sanctuary’s trees.

At Jungle Friends, Tabitha has truly come into her own, embracing every moment of her vibrant and cheeky personality.
