If you’re watching a blur of motion zip across the habitat, chances are you’ve spotted Krsna. This lively capuchin is always on the move — leaping, climbing, and flying from place to place with impressive speed and confidence. Curious and energetic, Krsna approaches each day as a new adventure waiting to unfold.

Before coming to Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary, Krsna lived with a family who worked closely with sanctuary staff to build thoughtfully designed outdoor habitats and indoor enclosures for him. When circumstances changed and the family could no longer provide the level of care he needed, they made the compassionate decision to bring him to Jungle Friends. The familiar setup helped Krsna settle in quickly.

Over the years, Krsna has been introduced to Maddison several times. While their early interactions were challenging, time and patience allowed their relationship to evolve. Now, even sharing a communal bedroom, the two have grown comfortable together and enjoy one another’s company.

When Krsna isn’t racing around his habitat, he’s all about comfort, often curled up under a blanket indoors with Maddison or tucked into his outdoor heat cave on cooler days. Known for his expressive personality and dramatic duck face, Krsna brings constant energy, charm, and joy to life at Jungle Friends.
