Leiah began her life as a pet, but after the loss of her longtime partner, Luke, it became clear that she needed companionship to truly thrive. Recognizing her need for connection and a more natural life, her guardian made the compassionate decision to bring her to Jungle Friends. It didn't take long for Leiah to adjust-she quickly found a new monkey partner and dove headfirst into sanctuary life.

These days, Leiah is living her best almost-wild life, and her vibrant personality shines in everything she does. She's a curious soul who always seems to know what's going on, often the first to investigate a new sound or visitor-and she's never shy about expressing her thoughts through her signature sassy chatter and iconic threat face, often delivered to her neighbors. With a sparkle in her eye and energy to spare, Leiah races through her habitat like a whirlwind, keeping her neighbors (and the humans) guessing what she'll do next. Whether she's orchestrating a game of chase, stirring up a little harmless drama, or simply holding court with her expressive commentary, Leiah brings nonstop excitement and fun to her corner of Munchkinland.
