At the sanctuary, Lizzy was introduced to another young monkey named Udi, and the two quickly became good friends. They spent their days chasing one another, wrestling, and exploring every inch of their environment together. This early friendship helped Lizzy feel secure and confident as she settled into her new life.
As Lizzy grew older, her personality gently evolved. While she still enjoys the presence of her friends, she became more reserved and quietly observant, often preferring peaceful moments over nonstop activity.
Today, Lizzy shares Thunderdome, the largest habitat at Jungle Friends, with her companions Udi and Goldie Hawn. Thunderdome suits her perfectly. One of her favorite pastimes is climbing to the very top and sitting quietly, watching everything below. From her high perch, Lizzy seems like a lookout in a ship’s crow’s nest — calm, thoughtful, and taking in the world at her own pace. Though shy, Lizzy finds comfort in her companions and familiar routines, showing that quiet confidence can be just as powerful as boldness.
