Bob

Species: Common Squirrel Monkey
Background: Former Lab
Date of Birth: 8/29/2010
Arrival Date: 11/14/2018
Special Needs: Amputee
Bob arrived at Jungle Friends after retiring from nicotine studies alongside 25 other squirrel monkeys. Their arrival made headlines on CNN, celebrating the historic event as the first troop retired from the FDA. Despite his compact stature and round face, Bob's tail was amputated long ago, affecting his balance and posture. Yet, his unabashed greediness adds charm, as he's always the first to pounce on new treats or enrichment items, making him an endearing character in the sanctuary.
