Bluebell, a cotton-top tamarin, began a new chapter at Jungle Friends in April 2015, along with 32 others, after the closure of their former laboratory home. Initially paired with another tamarin, circumstances led to their separation. But fortune smiled upon Bluebell, first in the form of Mr. Ed, her beloved companion with whom she shared a deep and joyful bond. From their very first grooming session, the two were inseparable, and Bluebell blossomed under his steady presence.

After Mr. Ed's passing, Bluebell found comfort and connection once more with George, her current partner. Their bond grew naturally, and now, Bluebell is rarely seen without George by her side. She’s usually the first monkey up in the morning, ready to greet the day, with George following close behind.

Bluebell especially loves the top of her outdoor habitat and can often be spotted hanging upside down from the roof. With George at her side, she remains playful, curious, and full of joy.
