Meet Aliyah, a tiny tamarin with a big personality! Born and raised in a zoo with her monkey family, Aliyah's journey took a turn when, at around 2 years old, her troop decided it was time for her to venture out on her own. While the zoo didn't have space to house her solo, they wanted the best for her – including the chance to make new monkey friends. That's when she made her way to Jungle Friends!

Aliyah was born with uniquely short limbs, making her even smaller than your average tamarin – but don't let her size fool you! She's a bold explorer who loves climbing trees and patrolling the runways of her outdoor habitat. Her short arms have even earned her the nickname "T-Rex," especially when she stands up on her back legs to investigate something new, holding her tiny arms close to her chest just like a curious little dinosaur.

Over the years, Aliyah has formed close bonds with both golden-handed tamarins and cotton-top tamarins, proving that her friendship knows no species. Whether she's climbing, playing, or simply following a buddy around, Aliyah brings a spark of joy wherever she goes.
