Jill’s journey to Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary began after a daring escape. Found running loose in Kentucky, where pet monkeys are illegal, Jill was never claimed—likely because her former owners were afraid of the consequences. Now, she’s safe and sound at the sanctuary, where she can live a more natural life. Though she’s shy, Jill appears to be in good health, except for one heartbreaking detail: someone had most of her teeth removed.

Despite this, Jill has adapted beautifully to her new life. She now lives with another toothless capuchin, and their bond has grown through gentle grooming sessions. Jill’s sweet and loving nature shines through as she returns her companion’s kindness with tender care.
