Tiki arrived at Jungle Friends when she was just six years old, after her guardian recognized that she deserved a life where she could climb, explore, and socialize with other monkeys. Tiny, beautiful, and brimming with personality, Tiki immediately won hearts, not just with her sweet nature, but with her delightfully powerful voice. For such a petite girl, the high-pitched squeals she lets out when she’s excited are nothing short of astonishing.

One of Tiki’s most endearing quirks is the way she greets her favorite people: she presses a hand over her heart and beams with pure joy. And though she lives with degenerative disc disease, which limits the use of her back legs, it certainly doesn’t limit her spirit. Tiki navigates her world with impressive ease and confidence, climbing, exploring, and keeping up with the best of them.

These days, Tiki shares her life with her companion Xenon, and the two make a wonderfully warm and gentle pair. Whether they’re grooming, relaxing in the sun, or checking in on the neighbors from their runways, their companionship is effortless and full of quiet affection.

Sweet, spirited, and full of heart, Tiki is a shining example of resilience, and she brings a little extra love into every corner of the sanctuary.
