Corky’s early life is a story of unimaginable neglect. Kept as a "pet" in a cramped birdcage, he was subjected to a life of isolation and starvation. His diet was so meager that he barely clung to life, his once-vibrant body reduced to a frail frame. By the time he was rescued, Corky’s muscles had severely atrophied, leaving his legs too weak to support him. His future looked bleak, and there were moments when we feared he wouldn’t survive. But despite his physical weakness, Corky’s spirit was unbroken, and that gave us hope.

Today, Corky is unrecognizable from the fragile creature we first met. Through months of dedicated care and rehabilitation, he has grown into a strong, healthy, and handsome monkey. His once-feeble legs now carry him with confidence, and his personality has blossomed alongside his physical recovery. Corky is now a social butterfly, enjoying the camaraderie of his fellow monkeys and taking on the role of their protector. He has become a pillar of strength in the troop, always watching out for his friends.
